It is proposed to bring the names and geographical locations of certain districts (daha and mavze) in some districts of Tashkent City into compliance with the requirements of the legislation

Proposals from certain district hokimiyats regarding bringing the names and geographical locations of districts (daha and mavze) within the territories of the districts into compliance with the requirements of the legislation have been submitted to the Tashkent City Commission on issues of naming and renaming geographical objects.

In accordance with Article 4¹ of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Names of Geographical Objects”, the Tashkent City Hokimiyat invites the population of the capital to express their opinion on bringing the names and geographical locations of certain districts (daha and mavze) in some districts of Tashkent City into compliance with the requirements of the legislation on the website https://geonom.tashkent.uz in order to study the opinion of the local population.

At the same time, the opinion of the population is also accepted in the following forms:

Orally: by contacting the telephone number +998-71-210-04-13 (on working days from 09:00 to 17:00);

In writing: by sending a letter to the postal address 100060, Tashkent City, Chilonzor District, Islam Karimov Street, house 51;

In electronic form: by sending a letter to the e-mail address geonom@digitaltashkent.uz.

The local population may express their opinion from 19 October to 2 November of this year.
