“Tashkent Experience”: issues of improving the quality of education and students’ knowledge were discussed

A meeting within the framework of the “Tashkent Experience” project was organised at General Education School No. 90 in Chilonzor District under the leadership of Durdona Rakhimova, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent City. It was attended by school principals, subject teachers and heads of responsible organisations.

📈At the meeting, issues of improving teachers’ qualifications, the use of modern teaching methods and additional specialised textbooks, as well as assessing students’ interim examination results through the My.tashkent.uz platform were discussed. Views were exchanged on increasing the effectiveness of education, regularly analysing students’ knowledge and improving the educational process based on identified needs.

🏢The “Tashkent Experience” project is being implemented in 24 general education schools in 12 districts of the capital. In the schools organised in the 2025–2026 academic year, 1,800 students were enrolled in 60 classes, and 144 teachers and specialists worked. In the 2026–2027 academic year, another 12 schools joined the project, and 131 teachers and specialists were involved.

Currently, a total of 2,326 students have been enrolled in 107 classes within the framework of the project.
They are receiving education in the following areas:

🔍 IT and programming;
🔍 Business and management;
🔍 Sociology (humanities);
🔍 Engineering technology.

📚Starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, specialised classes for in-depth study of exact and natural sciences have also been organised in grades 7–9. This serves to develop students’ interest in the subjects and further deepen their knowledge.
