The repaired section of Mustaqillik Shoh Street will open, and construction works will begin in the opposite direction

In Mirzo Ulugbek District, construction and renovation works are being carried out step by step on Mustaqillik Shoh Street to improve road infrastructure, organize traffic flow, and create convenient conditions for public transport.

In the previous stage of the works, the roadway on one side of the street was repaired and the road surface was renewed; infrastructure improvement processes along the street are also ongoing. Now, the next stage of works will begin in order to qualitatively repair the second side of the street as well.

In this regard:

— From 01:00 on July 16, 2026, to 22:00 on July 31, 2026, the roadway on Mustaqillik Shoh Street from the intersection with Parkent Street to the intersection with Mirzo Ulugbek Street will be temporarily closed to traffic.

— From 02:00 on July 16, 2026, the direction from the intersection with Mirzo Ulugbek Street (where construction and renovation works have been completed) to Oqqo‘rg‘on Street will be opened for all vehicles.

Temporary restrictions are being introduced to fully and qualitatively reconstruct Mustaqillik Shoh Street, improve traffic safety, and create modern and comfortable road infrastructure for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
